About Jan Davis

I'm a librarian by trade and have been doing research for over 25 years for business professionals.  But during that time, I've attended many art workshops and have developed a great appreciation for the teachers. Their generosity, talent, and love of art have inspired me to explore the artist within me.

Now that I live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, I want to bring artists and the workshop experience to the beautiful city that is now my home.

I’m not new to the world of event planning. While an academic librarian, I, along with two colleagues, organized a successful, national conference at Willamette University. As a member of AIIP, the Association of Independent Information Professionals, I developed the programs for three annual conferences.

Now, as I am transitioning from less business to more art, I look forward to organizing meaningful art experiences in Mexico.  I look forward to meeting you at one of them.  And I’m always open to new opportunities, so please contact me if you any ideas for future workshops.
